【摘要】:ThisdocumentdescribesatestmethodfordeterminingtheparticledensitybythepycnometermethodwithinthescopeofthegeotechnicalinvestigationsaccordingtoprEN1997-1andprEN1997-2.Thepycnometermethodisbasedonthedeterminationofthevolumeofaknownmassofsoilbythefluiddisplacementmethod.Thedensityofsolidparticlesiscalculatedfromthemassofthesoilandthevolume.Thepycnometermethodappliestosoiltypeswithparticlesizesunder4mm.
