【摘要】:Resilientflooringproductsaredesignedandformulatedtohavegoodresistancetomostcommonchemicalsencounteredintypicaluse.Highperformancewearlayerscanalsobeusedtoenhancecleanabilityandchemicalresistance.Resilientflooringusedinresidentialandcommercialenvironmentsmaybesubjectedtoavarietyofchemicalsthroughaccidentalspillageorasingredientsusedforhygienicpurposes.Performanceisdependentupontheflooringformulationandthatofthemaintenanceproductsusedontheflooring.Thistestmethodprovidesameansofestimatingtherelativesusceptibilityofresilientfloorcoveringtochangewhenexposedtochemicalreagents.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesaprocedurefordeterminingtheresistanceofresilientfloorcoveringtosurfacedeteriorationwhenexposedtovariouschemicalreagents.Thistestmethodisnotintendedasastainingtestnorasamethodtojudgesurfaceandappearancerestorationofthesampleafterexposuretothechemicalreagent.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardinformationisprovidedinSection5ofthistestmethod.
